Kids Hip Hop

In hip hop, kids learn the first dance steps and combinations of hip hop in a playful way. After a warm-up together, they practice actively listening to the music, thus creating an important musical prerequisite for dancing. Afterwards, various basics are practiced that form the foundation for the choreography.

Dancing strengthens the child's entire musculoskeletal system and is beneficial for fitness as well as for building strength and muscle. The child's own body awareness improves. Movements are carried out more safely and precisely thanks to a better developed body awareness. The interaction of movement with music also has a positive effect on the child's emotional life. Music, dance and movement games provide a lot of fun and good atmosphere. This also promotes cohesion within the group.

In this course, the children also have the opportunity to choreograph something themselves and dance freely. The Kids Hip Hop course in a group strengthens the social skills of the child, repeated successes through dancing together and showing off what has been learned together and free dancing strengthen the children's self-confidence. The music draws on both hip hop classics and current chart music.
