Jazz Dance

In this course we work with the techniques and basics of jazz dance, which are taught in a fun way. Children have a natural urge for movement and creativity. Jazz dance for kids meets these needs perfectly by combining powerful movements, creative expression and typical jazz elements such as turns and jumps.

In the warm-up, all parts of the body are warmed up and isolations are practiced. This is a characteristic of jazz dance and helps above all with coordination, as different parts of the body can be moved differently and in different rhythms at the same time (polycentricity & polyrhythm).

Leg and foot work are also learned in a playful way, as well as turns and jumps. This creates a basis for knowing and expanding on the techniques and characteristics of jazz dance.

In the choreography at the end, all the elements that were practiced during the lesson are put together - a dance is created and this gives the children a sense of achievement and self-efficacy.

Ballett

Ballet for children initially focuses on early dance education. The lesson begins with Physical exercises until the muscles are awake and feel all their body parts properly. Then new steps and movements are practiced in a playful way with special attention to the bodyaging.

The pointed feet and graceful arm movements are a special feature of ballet.

From the feet and legs, through the stomach and back, up to the neck and head, and through the arms to the fingertips, the body tension that is so important in dancing is practiced in a playful way. Ballet is the basis for many dance styles.

During the course, various

Movements, footwork and turns

and the first child-friendly ballet steps are learned. In addition to basic dance training, motor and coordination skills, musicality, creativity and the personality of your child are also promoted. Fun, joy of movement, imagination and motivation are the main focus. Learning through play in a team creates a team spirit and great cohesion. It has been proven that children who regularly train ballet are more successful at school and later in their professional lives.

Hip Hop

In hip hop, kids learn the first dance steps and combinations of hip hop in a playful way. After a joint warm-up, they practice actively listening to the music, thus creating an important musical prerequisite for dancing. Various basics are then practiced, which form the foundation for the choreography.

Dancing strengthens the child's entire musculoskeletal system and is beneficial for fitness as well as for building strength and muscle. The child's own body awareness improves. Movements are carried out more safely and precisely thanks to a better developed body awareness. The interaction of movement with music also has a positive effect on the child's emotional life. Music, dance and movement games provide a lot of fun and good atmosphere. This also promotes cohesion within the group.

In this course, the children also have the opportunity to choreograph something themselves and dance freely. The Kids Hip Hop course in a group strengthens the social skills of the child, repeated successes through dancing together and showing off what has been learned together and free dancing strengthen the children's self-confidence. The music draws on both hip hop classics and current chart music.

Break Dance

Breakdance is a mixture of fast step combinations and acrobatic movements.

Especially at a young age, it is very effective to engage kids with music and cool moves.

Breakdancing is creative, individual and independent. It trains body control, promotes motor skills, generates strength and is a lot of fun, especially for boys, who often find their way into dance.

Breaking or BBoying includes so-called "toprocks" (upright dancing), "footworks" (dancing close to the ground), "freezes" (freezing a movement in one position) and "power moves" (flying and turning on and around every conceivable part of the body - at a more advanced stage). By breaking, you not only get to know your own body, but also train your sense of rhythm and train your strength and coordination. Self-efficacy is also promoted here, as the kids are incredibly proud when they have achieved something "so cool".
