ABOUT EMILIA

I grew up near Freiburg and started dancing at the age of 6 in various clubs and later at music schools before moving to the DanceEmotion dance school in Freiburg at the age of 14.

There I danced jazz, ballet and modern for years and met Lena Lafrenz for the first time, whose powerful, emotional style of dancing immediately captivated me. It was also around this time that I began teaching jazz courses myself.

In 2015, after completing my bachelor's degree in geosciences, I moved to Darmstadt for my master's degree.

There I continued to take lessons in jazz, ballet and modern dance. I also continued my education in many workshops across the country in a wide variety of dance styles.

When Lena started teaching in Darmstadt, our paths crossed again and I became her assistant for the jazz courses in Darmstadt. During Lena's second maternity leave, I also successfully took over the entire representation of her courses.

Since 2017, I have also been teaching the advanced jazz course at the Unisport of the TU Darmstadt, which is regularly booked for performances in the region and enjoys great popularity.

I am very happy to be part of the Motion Dance Studio team.
